Ecco trionfi e delusioni dei Grammy Awards 2021

I Grammy Awards del 2021 si sono tenuti, come molti altri eventi di quest’anno, senza pubblico. Trevor Noah ha condotto la serata in collegamento con tutti gli artisti nominati, guardando indietro ad un’annata (il 2020) che di musica ne ha offerta poca, ma significativa. La cerimonia si è conclusa e i premi sono stati assegnati: quindi, tiriamo le somme.

La prima impressione che si ha di questi Grammy è di un grande trionfo, finalmente, della femminilità. Fiona Apple, Megan Thee Stallion, Brittany Howard, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande e ovviamente Taylor Swift e Beyoncé imperano su tutti.

Significativo il risultato conseguito dagli Strokes, che vicono il Best Rock Album per la prima volta; ottimo anche Kaytranada, meritatissimo, come miglior album in ambito dance/elettronico. Una grande soddisfazione, da segnalare a parte, è quella di Billie Eilish: trionfatrice dell’anno scorso, si porta a casa due premi, tra i quali il prestigioso Record of the Year.
